This is crap IMO.

Can see them going for RW more. Savio more natural to LW, then got Grealish and Doku who primarily play there and Foden can play there too. RW, feels just Silva and Foden, and the latter is playing a lot more centrally. Part of me feels they could come in for Bowen. Just an output guy for RW who would also be happy to be rotational.
-
They’re so going to switch to FDJ after a whiff Barcelona want rid, and it’s totally because they’ve got this super duper scouting network and not signing guys ETH likes.
-
Nah, fair view and similar to mine. At £70m, you want a top end striker and he’s a good one but not someone that’s going to pump up 20+ season IMO. Another quick flip like Ferran Torres few years back, who hasn’t done nowt since.
-
Man City probably sign someone who can playing attacking CAM to replace Alvarez. They’re content with playing someone like Foden up front or a new guy if needed, but need them to play CM too, which was where Alvarez was popping up quite a bit last season.
-
Refuse to believe we won’t sign a RW We’ve made at least two signings in every position since the takeover (GK/LB/CB/RB/CM/LW/ST) and RW is the one we’ve not signed a single player, and this summer we go, nah, still won’t. Jog on RW will be a big purple chip, just a case of when and who.
-
Just a no brainer. One of those, where no clubs will make a move, then come next summer after Leeds a promoted and he has a 20+ G/A season, clubs are linked with £30m+ bids
-
Leeds in for Rowe. If we’re taking like £10m+ mark, I’d want us involved, even if it was with a loan back.
-
Now most clubs will be returning to UK and around Europe from tours this week, I’m expecting deals to fly through left right centre over the course of this week.
-
Just leave him in u23s. Guy will go to another club, even if it’s L2, see he’s actually crap, then just give him scrap minutes. It’s a dud that we’ve got till end of his contract, which you may as well keep in u23s.

West Ham as a replacement for one of Kudus / Bowen.

This for me. Genuinely one of the most complete 0 out 10 performance I’ve ever seen. The chance to redeem that terrible performance with a penalty right at the end, and still fucked it

Says enough something will stick.

Got a rich owner. Spent quite a bit few seasons ago, feels they’re probably going for it again. If they get things right, they should easily be an established 2nd club in France that can beat PSG to titles.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26
Sibierski replied to bowlingcrofty's topic in Football
Pre season. Couldn’t care about any of the results, more about getting players fitness levels up and avoid injuries as part of that process. -
It’s not even Todd anymore calling these shots, buts it’s funny how he’s associated. They’re such a mess of a club. Maresca will be gone soon anyway.

3 of England starting back 4 for WC26 at ourselves.
-
2 years left on deal, I’m guessing it’s a deal that’s £45m with some add ons to around £50m+
-
Yep, which may have led to the leak. As if it’s one club less, if there’s another out there, they’ll want them to come to the negotiating party.
-
I assume Palace have leaked to Orny in hope that someone like Man Utd come in for a bid to drive up the price, as they’re in fear of just one club making a play.
-
Yes. This was the guy I wanted last summer.
-
I’ll get nervous if a Saudi club randomly comes in for Diaz or Jota for like £60m, because then suddenly Liverpool have the funds and space to make a serious run. Currently, they don’t need him, and their funds are better spent either CM or in defence. They have an abundance of young players who Slot will want to see first 6 months of season before deciding things, which would make it paramount we get a new deal to Gordon and signed in that time.
-
Think if we don’t see at least one main guy in by the Sela Cup I’ll start to get concerned on what’s happening behind closed doors. We all knew from end of last season the two main areas we needed to spend money (CB / RW) and areas where we wanted to increase quality in depth if opportunities arose (GK / ST / CM). With ideally moving on a few players. So far, it’s a goalkeeper which was part of a panic PSR deal, and likely a very young raw striker. Fanbase need a big signing just to ease the apprehensions that things maybe are not rosey behind closed doors.

0-2 as well I’ll go for family stand next time. Quite annoying.
