Not sure what that tweet is getting at? It still will be within that time frame at least. Back on training ground, but still be at least 2 months work on that before resuming full first team training where you ideally wouldn’t want to rush him back through that. Hope if Botman says come September I’m good to go, we tell him no.

If we get a top RW, then it’s fine even if we lost Wilson. Got Gordon who can play up front with Barnes LW as another option. Have to go into season expecting your star striker to stay fit for 95% of the season, and in the games where we’re leading and he’s done, this guy will have enough about him to do the simple stuff for the team. Shouldn’t be needing him to come on and rescue results often.

Raw striker with potential at a young age. Just what we need really for 2nd or 3rd choice. Worse case, doesn’t work out but make money back, best case, strong squad player / future profits. Hopefully start of more deals coming in areas we actually need to improve the starting XI.

Think that’s more club releasing hit pieces to make it seem like they tried all they can and Gallagher is forcing move. When in reality, they’ve not made much effort, happy to sell to bring in PSR funds for further spending and already have his replacement in KDH. Some downgrade this Chelsea squad going to be end of August after spending £150m+

Forgot about the membership ballot to buy, oh well. Probably will regularly miss those ones because of bloody work meetings. Be easier if it opened at 8am.

I know they’ve got Rice money from last season still and backing new manager, but West Ham are spending like they know a sale will be banked later this window.

Yea, if you are dumb enough to waste time trying to beat him one v one. He’s terrible positionally, so you just concentrate more on opposition left side and play balls to back post in behind defence that side, and he’s bad. Like one v one is such a small aspect of the overall requirement to be a defender at the top end.

Said it before, Murphy you have to keep because he’s a competent body for RB too if needed in an emergency. Miggy really offers nothing apart from RW, so has to be sold out of the two.

Pre-season (2026/27): NUFC to play Everton at Murrayfield on 12/08/26

One thing that’s so nice under Howe, a side that always looks like scoring and wanting to score. Take goals goals goals all day over grinding out 1 goal wins just to get few points more. -
Heard we offered £40m for Nketiah and Isak to be sold for £90m to Arsenal.

The boy is going to fire us to silverware this season

It’ll be some 4-3-1-2 I can see Carlo going. Where Vini and Mbappe are up top, but interchange who is on left side of attack, with Bellingham behind. Then Valverde RCM doing the role of two players as he regularly does for balance. Real Madrid would probably prefer Rodrygo goes for £60m+, but if some club did come in and offered that for Guler, I think they would be tempted. They need a CM long term and that’s the money there.

I’m all in on this being a breakout transfer rumour and official offer to be leaked in next 24 hours.

Website broken? Can’t seem to locate the spurs ticket ballot. Just non-existent. Just comes up with Sela weekender and Man City.

They’ve got no choice if they want to sign Williams. Got to make some sales to free up funds/wages.

A career that screams kicking around in the Central/Eastern European Leagues in his mid 20s. -
Well that's BS isn't it? Hall and Maatsen have moved without one. When you are selling for like £30m+, you just don't put one in, as the move afterwards if they progress is like twice as much. Saw it with Lavia after he left Man City. They could've signed him back, but then probably thought, at £50m, lol, fuck that, plenty of similar players out there for less.
-
Probably a guff piece, but on flipside, it probably can be said the striker we want is someone who's 6ft 3+ giving DCL had some noise too. Guess we're looking at that type of striker.

Big Joe for me. Small psychological battles, get the big man at the front of that tunnel staring down the play maker captain for other side

He didn’t get a rest last summer, and played high intensity all season and basically got fucked his ankle at end of season. Glad we’ve gave him an extended break because he needs it. -
Think it’s more fortunate that we’ve not had a Schar injury yet. To go into the season without signing an actual CB would be dumbest thing we could ever do. Lascelles filled in last season, but let’s be honest, we can’t be having him starting RCB if we want to get pushing back upwards.
-
If Isak can’t manage a 38 game season, then something is wrong with him IMO. Gordon can fill in there, and so can Joelinton in emergency, in the times Wilson is broken again. Like I’d rather sign another CM than end up with say a DCL or someone that’s not increasing our quality.
-
I’m not really fussed about a striker. Rather play the long game with that since we don’t have Europe. If there’s someone we’ve got an eye on and it’s a no this summer but possibility next summer, just wait. RW / CB are the musts this window, of starting quality. Then opportunist CM if one becomes available.
-
Like I said other day, he’s underlying stats must be so good for clubs to be sniffing. Just comes with the package of being a bell, so that potential could be realised or it’s another Balotelli.
