  1. What parts of De Ligt do people like? One of those players, people elevate highly with no reason to back it up. What you see at 17 is what he’s now. Not improved in the 7 years, and not suddenly going to now. If anything, as he goes across this contract, he’s just going to get slower and giving how much he leaves himself needed to recover space wise, only going to look even worse over time. There’s a reason why two big clubs have moved him on after a couple of seasons at a loss.
  2. Neither team can defend. Could be 6-3 to any side come end of game.
  3. Buying Utilita Arena and building there IMO is the only legit option. And giving wording about not regretting the decision as a city, helps that. As you see with Man City stadium, that’s completely hauled the neighbouring area, and a mega new stadium there near the Tyne, can see that whole neighbouring area rejuvenated over time with the city area expanded out further for retail and leisure.
  4. Assume he will be in u21 squad, which is probably where his development is atm. Still expect him to be a colossal player for us towards end of season.

Is he like completely gone as a player? Can’t we get rid for £1m and that £1m go towards subsidising his wages to get a move.
  6. 0/5 for league games, going as a pair for rest of stadium Probably won't be going for West Ham / Liverpool as I won't be able to get to games in time, so hopefully 6th time lucky for Leicester game. Will try and get on at 10am Monday, but if work gets in way, usually too late then
  7. The inverted wingers are suppose to come inside, bring the full back likely with them, with a player change over to slot outwide, and causing confusion as it requires either opposition to move on the man they’re marking or get dragged into a position they’re not comfortable in to track a run. All needs to be with quick passing and movement. Something we’re poor at. Man City obviously best at it, but they for me go too far and overdue it.
  8. Evening game. Everton on back of a win. Yea, I’ve only got bad feelings about this one DCL to be unplayable, 2-0 Everton.
  9. Get him starting against Everton.
  10. Positives: Into next round, no injuries, Osula looked up to speed and can play a part in league games. Negatives: Poor yet again from word go with the ball. Nothing really created from open play. Been more reflective of the whole season rather than the Man City game.
  11. Like there, instantly give it away again ffs
  12. This has been a shambles. We have no clue how to kill games off with possession.
  13. I don’t buy that. He’s got the technical ability, playing one twos and running into box can still be done. But he can’t even trap a bag of sand tonight, wants too many touches and been more weaker than Longstaff.
  14. Willock has played his way down the pecking order this game. So poor.
  15. Have done since last summer. Probably moved on only one we had close to one in Anderson.
  16. Was going to say, a clear pen on Miggy. Schar was a dive.
  17. Rather have the RW sit inside the pitch when you’ve got Tino RB. When Miggy is on touchline, it closes off his dribbles, so just further compounds our poor play.
  18. Wouldn’t be surprised if changes are made at HT.
  19. All the possession, and all we got is Barnes or Ousla coming in off left to try and curl one top bins.
  20. So who do people think will win this years bake off?
  21. Miggy such an enigma. Superb run, unbelievable (yet weird) control with the head, then lashes it over like the shit end product he has
  22. These types of games just highlights how little we have on the ball. Literally no-one never wants it played into them centre of pitch in opposition half, it’s all outwide and runs, which can make it easy to defend again. Just little quality at taking ball on half turn in pockets.
  23. Miggy refusal to use right foot nearly cost that, was an own goal if it counted?
