For context, this is non-penalty xG+xA from what I can tell, and in that case it's plain wrong (at least vs Opta data). Barnes has been left out of this list despite a higher non-penalty xG+xA/90 of 0.56, and Murphy is at 0.62 (higher than shown on the list). On the actual topic, these stats are meaningless when you consider Gordon hasn't scored in the Prem in donkeys years (pens aside) and hadn't assisted either until Big Joe's goal vs Burnley, which wasn't really an assist since it was a deflection off Walker. All of that to say, Gordon has and is massively underperforming, and his defensive metrics are down too. We can all see his lack of effort at times (tracking back, in duels) and his antics when things aren't going his way. I hope we can get a wedge for him in the summer and reinvest into someone young and exciting. Barnes should be starting.
