https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14963821/Newcastle-star-wanted-Spanish-giants-Sevilla.html Newcastle United goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos is wanted by Spanish side Sevilla. Sevilla are exploring a loan deal of their own with Newcastle for Vlachodimos and know the Greece international is keen to move to gain more game time and get his career back on track. Newcastle are happy to let Vlachodimos go though terms have still to be agreed.

"Liverpool have had a £110million bid for Alexander Isak rejected by Newcastle United and, as it stands, do not intend to return with a second offer. It is understood that the Premier League champions believe that to do so would be futile with the North East club valuing Isak at around £150million. Liverpool’s offer fell short of the £120million figure sporting director Richard Hughes had previously indicated to his Newcastle counterparts that they would be prepared to bid. It was, therefore, always likely to fail and it is puzzling why they went in at such a level. The initial assumption was that Liverpool would bid again, but the club later said the swiftness and clarity of Newcastle’s rebuttal meant that to do so would be fruitless. There is a difference between not bidding again and walking away entirely from a long-held interest in a player but, amid the games that are routinely played in the transfer window, it feels like it would need a change of heart from Newcastle to add fresh momentum into matters. That could come if the club manages to bolster its own attacking options." This guy is Liverpool's Ornstein

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c5yl7epeyv0o Liverpool are willing to walk away from a move for striker Alexander Isak after Newcastle United rejected their opening offer. The Magpies, who value the Sweden international at about £150m, turned down a bid of £110m from the Premier League champions. BBC Sport understands Liverpool do not think a deal for Isak is achievable this summer as it stands. The 25-year-old was left out of the Newcastle squad for their pre-season tour of Asia with a "minor thigh injury", according to the club, while he wants to explore a move away despite the Magpies qualifying for this season's Champions League. The bid from Liverpool was lodged while Isak trains alone at former club Real Sociedad, amid continued uncertainty around his future.

Nominative determinism in action

Addressing the communications vacuum would go a long way to rebuilding any trust that's been lost. Hopefully the CEO will realise this on his first day and sort it out. Not sure I'm too optimistic about it happening

This is the link I was using https://archive.is/DvqZT Not sure if it's the same one you're having issues with but it still works for me

Very unlikely Forest would let their sporting director go during the window. The CEO delay is a mystery though.
