Trippier to West Ham not a go-er then
-
And it's done!
-
And they'll probably sign a few more on top before the window closes
-
Aye. Southampton were also doing a bit of grandstanding through their media sources about the price, but a compromise was eventually reached that we both seemed happy with.
-
Didn't the Livramento transfer go a bit like this? Few bids with a flurry of updates from fairly reliable sources that said all along that there was hope a deal could be done?
-
Agreed, I like Krafth and rate him probably a bit more highly than most but still wouldn't like to rely on him for a whole season. If Trippier goes I'm hoping the club use this as an opportunity to get a young promising RB in, maybe someone like Kayode who we were vaguely linked to earlier in the window. That or someone similar - could be a great opportunity for Mitchell to flex his European market knowledge.
-
Guess this is an indication of progress
-
Didn't Livramento play in a friendly for Southampton a day or two before our deal was completed last summer? Nowt to worry about this.
-
Aye it'll be this. I remember at one point earlier this summer odds on Ramsdale joining us were very short.

https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Crystal-palace-discute-avec-wolfsburg-pour-maxence-lacroix/1489130 "Wolfsburg's French defender Maxence Lacroix is being targeted by Crystal Palace who have opened transfer talks." Palace working on their Guehi replacement already it seems?
-
Fair play to him going the extra mile to prove what we all knew
-
Video on this from Downie, seems quite optimistic that this gets done
-
Aye, if we get a clean run at him think it'll be because none of the other clubs capable of affording + attracting him actually need him right now, coupled with the fact that this is the window where Palace can get max value for him if he's refusing to sign a new contract.
-
Apparently this increases the likelihood that Liverpool wont want Guehi. Don't know enough about them to know how true that is
-
Aye, doubt he's going there just to casually scout him then making a snap decision about whether to buy him based on his performance in that game. Much more likely that if this is all true MItchell's mind was already made up and he's just at the game because it happens to be being played while he's there.
