  1. According to this apparently reliable Dutch outlet: https://www.vi.nl/nieuws/van-hecke-sluit-deur-voor-brighton-en-kijkt-naar-toptransfer Van Hecke not signing new contract at Brighton, wants a big move. We have been in touch this week and Spurs also interested. Says Brighton asking 50m EUR but that sounds low.
  2. I'm still surprised Goncalo Ramos hasn't been mentioned as being on our list of targets. We were linked to him before getting Isak and he wants to leave/PSG want to sell. PSG fans very complimentary about him despite him not getting a huge amount of game time.
  3. I watched the video earlier. The £135m was a complete guess/gut feeling from Downie based on absolutely nothing. These aggregator accounts are shite lads.
  4. Romano said earlier Liverpool want him but don't want to pay the £40m Palace are asking. Hopefully we stay clear of another potential saga
  5. Not even a real person apparently
  6. Apparently they're after around £55m
  7. "Christopher Vivell driving" These cunts can't even afford to send the delegation on a private jet, how can they afford Sesko
  8. Funnily enough the Manure reporter at The Athletic says Leipzig might be interested in him
  9. Can't claim to know much about him but he only had 8 starts and an average of 30 minutes per game across those 31 last season tbf
  10. "And here is a new name I can bring you. Myself and my Mail Sport colleague Simon Jones are working around the clock on transfers (quite literally given the time difference) and we understand Newcastle have made an informal enquiry for Fulham’s Rodrigo Muniz. No high-level talks have taken place, but intermediaries have been involved in discussions and a fee of £40million mooted. Meanwhile, Newcastle are continuing to pursue deals for RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Brentford’s Yoane Wissa. However, the feeling inside the club is that Sesko is likely to go to Manchester United, which would be a huge frustration given they are so keen on the Slovenian. That, though, could potentially pave the way for a move for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins, who is on Newcastle’s shortlist. So is Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson, but several others are ahead of him at present."

  12. Found it: https://www.givemesport.com/benjamin-sesko-newcastle-united-manchester-united-summer-move/ "Sources reveal to GIVEMESPORT that Manchester United had a direct contact with RB Leipzig in the last 48 hours to start concrete conversations about the Sesko deal details, with suggestions on a meeting taking place face-to-face in the past few days." "sources reveal to GIVEMESPORT that Man United are still understanding internally if they can commit to this kind of deal now after Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha… or they have to wait for more outgoings with Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Alejandro Garnacho expected to go"
  13. Anyone figure out where Romano has actually said this? Last Romano update via either YT/Twitter doesn't mention anything like it, and the guy this tweet cites also doesn't say Romano has said it.
  14. Would be surprised if at least one PL club isn't in for him eventually, but matching Ipswich's £20m with most of it paid up front might be more than any current PL club wants to stump up for a Championship midfielder.
  15. Could be transformative for us. I'm also kind of glad Ramsdale doesn't excel at short range passing for the purposes of "playing out from the back". Feel like even the keepers who are known to be good at that frequently fuck it up. Long/medium range passing out from the back should present much less risk, although I'm sure we will try to go shorter as well.
