In previous seasons, Brentford were constructed around Toney. It’s no surprise that Wissa and Mbeumo have been somewhat liberated in his absence. At Newcastle he’ll be playing in a better team with a manager at least as good. I think his numbers can get better. As others have said he’s a two for one, providing excellent cover for Isak centrally too. And having another class penalty taker in the ranks is always useful.
