This penalty shite needs sorting out.

Best game I've seen for ages. None of the shite we see served up in the premier league
-
Diaz slightly better than Gordon

Newcastle have emerged as contenders to sign Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson, 24, who will return to Chelsea in the summer after Bayern Munich confirmed they will not turn his loan into a permanent move. (Talksport)

If Eddie is still deciding who we buy we are going to get more of the same. Athletes, runners, workers but forget flair or technique.

I'm more worried we will be next seasons Spurs.

Chelsea refuse to accept mediocrity. For most of the history of NUFC they've embraced it.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)
Magpie Mover replied to Ronson333's topic in Football
Watching Curtis Jones playing RB today against Everton and it's the best I've seen him play, much more involved than when he's in midfield. Might be an idea to play Lewis at RB again, he looked very good there earlier in the season and he does dissappear a bit when in midfield. -
Not unless we change manager and have 60 million to spend

A more tactically astute manager would have realised a long time ago that our wingers are all to varying degrees useless and changed formation and found a different way to play. We have midfielders and full backs who can provide the width. My biggest problem with Eddie has always been his tactical inflexibility and that's one of the reasons I hope we get in a new manager with some new ideas.

That's why Hall won't start for England -
This long throw bullshit is just so anti football. Is it only in the premier league that it's now so prevalent or in other European leagues?

Best RW at the club, play him there. -
Pretty sure he won't. Reilly will start because he's big and athletic.

Newcastle United retain an interest in signing James Trafford, 23, if the England goalkeeper decides to leave Manchester City in search of regular first-team football in the summer. (Football Insider, external) Meanwhile, City are prepared to offer the Magpies a selection of players to help facilitate a potential deal for Italy midfielder Sandro Tonali, 25. (Teamtalk, external)

It will be interesting to see how the Germans use him in tonight's game if anyone is watching.
-
Considering how much he gets paid he should concentrate on trying to improve his game which is full of technical faults. Leaning backwards while trying to put it in the top corner rarely works. Hes an idiot and shows no sign of improvement.

The man is a brain dead idiot. Keep your stupid pathetic thoughts to yourself. Action not words. Dickhead.

Anthony Gordon says Newcastle United's defeat by rivals Sunderland is "not good enough" because the Black Cats are "not very good" compared with the Magpies. Sunderland completed a league double over their north-east rivals on Sunday with a 2-1 win at St James' Park, having beaten the Magpies 1-0 in the reverse fixture. The defeat means the Tyneside club have failed to beat Sunderland in any of their past 11 league meetings - the longest winless run for either club in the fixture's history. But Newcastle forward Gordon, who scored his side's opener before Sunderland's comeback through goals from Chemsdine Talbi and Brian Brobbey, says Eddie Howe's side are the better team. "The frustrating thing is, in my opinion, they're not a very good team compared to us. We shouldn't lose to them," Gordon told Newcastle's club media. "Away is obviously more difficult because they have the fans, the atmosphere and a bit more pressure, but at home we should not lose that game. Not with the first half that we had, but again we haven't been good enough starting second halves and it's an ongoing problem." Newcastle's Barnes replaces Eze in England squad Published 4 hours ago Sunderland's victory means they leapfrogged Newcastle in the table, with the Magpies dropping to 12th. The loss followed an 8-3 aggregate defeat by Barcelona in the Champions League. "Not good enough really, no excuses," said Gordon. "We were good for 45 minutes, which has been the case too often this season - we actually knew going into the game and had been trying to work on it. "Not good enough start to the second half and they were the better team second half."

Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, 28, tops Manchester United's list of potential replacements for fellow Brazilian Casemiro, 34, and the club has already held talks with the player's representatives. (UOL - in Portuguese)

I wouldn't celebrate too much if the go down, for starters Howe will be all over Solanke and Gallagher.
-
I dont think Eddie has any idea what he's doing, again.

Not very convincing but it's a start. Need another goal as we definitely have a mistake in us.

For anybody brought up in the NE or still living there this is definitely the most important game of the season. Just win for fucks sake.
