It's been 2 years since Tonali. 3 or more for Isak, Bruno & Botman. Easier to sell when we were the new rich club where we weren't hampered by PSR due to Ashley's lack of spending. We're obviously still very attractive to players but possibly not to the same level if it doesn't look like we're going to be PSG or City-ing our way due to PSR.

In this 4-3-3 we play definitely, but I think if we changed to 4-2-3-1, 3-4-3 or whatever then I'm not sure he suits a midfield two.

I get this. Some will absolutely love it, like you can tell Bruno does, but you can see why it'd be intense if you just wanted to go about your life.

They'll have overachieved if they get 4 points from those.

Joelinton probably the only other one I'd reluctantly sell if we got a good offer. Not that he'd kick on like Gordon I think he's at his absolute peak, but you could buy a 10 (Pedro?) and change system, or find it easier to find a midfield destroyer for cheaper than a Tonali, Bruno or Isak replacement.

He'd no doubt kick on at Liverpool, but if they're offering a huge fee, he's still the one of the big money players I'd sell if it meant 3-4 come in. Reckon the drop off or hole left by Tonali, Bruno or Isak would hurt us far more and I don't think anyone else in the squad other than possibly Tino now would fetch £70-80m plus.

It's a bit of a mess because this twat loves to spin things and he's been caught out.

The links seem to be players we've been chasing for 1-3 years. More than happy that if we have a player in mind that we really like, we keep them in mind for when they are available.
