we need an easier draw. something Villa had last season I think would be great: Young Boys, Bayern, Bologna, Brugge, Leipzig, Juventus, Monaco,Celtic, they beat Bayern at home ad Leipzig away which were their two biggest/hardest wins. they managed to get 5/1/2 record vs above 8 clubs, that got them straight to last 16 on 7th place finish, then beat Brugge with ease in last 16 with 3-1 and 3-0 wins despite they lost to them in league stage, and exited vs PSG in a quite close tie in the end. decent run overall given they havent been in CL for 30+ years. would love something similar for us as 2 years ago it was all over for us in December.

time for our first win. only saw the match highlights but Leeds played quite decent vs Everton and won, but then were awful vs Arsenal and lost badly. if we can get some of the energy we had vs Liverpool to show here, this should be OK. but could be hard if our energy levels drop and Tonali, Joeliton out, Gordon suspended etc. new striker to be registered by 12pm Friday so about 48 hours, bit more.

I dont rate him highly ad looks more a talented Osula but still way below imo Joao Pedro, Ekitike level, sadly his price will be very similar. to get this category as our main striker would be odd and quite expensive as Wolves now will negotiate the shit out of us for him this late. sadly we are in a desperate situation and this has price too. I think 10/15 goals max from him is what we can expect. he is 26 in February, and is type of striker by the look if it who can deliver 10/15 goals if he play 33/35 games is a league season. but if you cut number of games, then its 8/12 goals only. very tall at least so can be an aerial threat which is not bad. but if its him for 60m or Gordon upfront most games, then guess better to spend it.

I hope these fuckers dont win the title. please sign a striker until the game. thats the most important now. few days training with the squad for said striker would not be bad either. in the meantime stop Isak's salary he might be in breach of contract anyway. atmosphere need to be brutal here and push us through. going forward they are very strong but Bournemouth showed they can be got at by but putting Konate and van Dick inn uncomfortable situations and we need a striker for that. can see quite a few yellows here if ref cannot control emotions from early on.
