In a way I think Bayern made the right move and call the bluff (even though it wasn’t one). Raising beyond Barcelona‘s offer wouldnt have been sensible and Gordon is just not good enough to give them a real boost in quality. They always try to get bargain deals done and that surely wouldnt have been one. Maybe they‘ll go for some low profile guy or Barcola/Doue again.

Premier league dominance is really detrimental to Europa‘s and Conference‘s appeal, no idea if UEFA has a plan how to fix that.

German media have just reported that Barca have placed a 96m€ offer that Bayern is not interested to match and so they have already contacted one of Ajax‘ wingers as a future prospect.

If we get Nübel as any kind of compensation, we are damned…an accident waiting to happen that commands zero presence. Was hailed as Neuer‘s successor some years ago, then produced howler after howler and now they don’t even want him back after his loan. Better get Karius back.

Isak for sure, Wirtz, while of course very underwhelming was still so much better than Wissa that I can hardly compare those two.
