True but I don’t see Eddie rotating much, sadly.
-
I‘m not too keen on conference league football to be honest. Loads of opposition teams that are hoping to prove something against us while their own appeal is pretty low (no offense). Not much to gain in terms of money or reputation but travel weariness and injuries could await us.
-
Or wait for Farke to be sacked.
-
I‘d aim for more Bundesliga players. Not the big money signings (Sancho, Mkitharyan, Kagawa, Wirtz types) but rather raw talent (Sane, Boateng) or players that are under the radar (Stach, Groß, Mateta). They should be rather inexpensive, have some decent level of English, can culturally adapt in no time and are not known for being problematic characters.

That feeling gets reinforced by him being very likable…but yeah, he certainly has limitations.
-
I don’t get that, in first half he had lots of good touches, wasnt disposessed, was in a lot of duels and should have had two assists, why is that not good? Unless you just expect him to be rapid, he has done everything he was asked for I guess.
-
Delap would be a terrible choice imo but someone whose profile could fit to Eddie‘s vision for us. Think he‘s also a mercenary type while I got the idea Nick has a soft spot for us…real shame if true.
-
Don’t understand that either, Arsenal fans (most of them) are pretty relieved to have Harvertz back. But if you expect every striker to be Shearer\ R9 reincarnated, then there is a world of disappointment waiting for you when you buy an inexperienced prospect from an inferior league.

Eddie giving Wissa a Seminar on how we play first, cool.
-
It’s ludicrous that people still try to scapegoat Woltemade when he had one assist (should be two if Elanga had a bit more composure in front of goal) and was the only creative element in our midfield. And all that for a performance that has so many weaker players.

Nick brawling on the ground and in the air, splendid.

No doubts before kick-off for me, just plow through them in a fashion we can make a memorial shirt from. -
Yesterday was a standout performance, before that he has (just) been solid and originally was beging Flekken. He was also no. 2 at Leipzig before and could hardly get past Gulasci. Maybe he is a late bloomer.
-
He had some promising cameos for Bayern as an impact sub, but was terrible when in the starting line up. Bayern were happy to sell him with a big profit and I remember their fanbase rubbing their eyes that Spurs were so stupid to throw that much money at them.
-
I want the player from the compilation back 😕 so much flair, so clinical…even if it was a purple patch, we should have never started experimenting in the way we did.
-
Caught Noro myself two weeks ago…terrible, saps all power out of you for at least a week. If he really was ill with that I can’t see why they even thought about throwing him in, makes no sense at all.
-
Wouldnt question his character in any way. He hasnt moaned once about being played out of position, getting no rest (at the beginning of the season), not being penalty taker then and now etc.

German media only report that Bayern could possibly be interested if Kane leaves, which seems unlikely at best.

I also feel like the whole discussion is drifting in a strange direction. Nick plays/is played badly at the moment, no question, but the fact that we score twice against Everton at home and leave the game empty-handed points at a much bigger issue than a striker‘s drought. By the numbers our offense isnt even that bad, we just concede too many, too easily.

Vincent Kompany‘s take on the Vini JR “situation“ against Benfica. Rarely have I seen such a good statement by a football coach. (Switches to English after 20 seconds)
-
Unless Nick posts it on his official channel or live on TV, I don‘t believe anything of that rubbish.
