Mowen
how could i forget to mention the Kevin Nolan. The guy is beyond s****. Yeh i remember i said that (and i honestly still think it). Fuck it, he's still loads better than everyone we've got in that position as it stands (ignoring Barton for the time being given the infrequency of his appearences whilst fit for us).....straws.....clinging

Cajun
James Milner. Would welcome him back into the team right now, especially as the cheque Villa used to pay for him was written in invisible ink.

Segun Oluwaniyi
Bentley, Defoe, Cech. I'd only agree with Bentley off that list. Think Cech has genuinely been back to his best most of this year (after being shaky the two previous), and Defoe is what he is, a player who has a bit of pace and can finish. Nothing special, but very useful. edit: And honestly everyone knows Bentley is poor now.

Cronky
To fling in a new name.... Tevez, anyone? He's a good player all right, but £25 million or whatever they're asking? I don't think so.

Segun Oluwaniyi
Berbatov is the second most expensive player in the history of British football I believe? On that basis he is overvalued and maybe overrated despite being a very talented footballer.
Incognito
Berbatov is the second most expensive player in the history of British football I believe? Cronky
The £30-35 million fee for Berbatov was an indication of his value to Man U, rather than his value generally. He's filled a gap for them that possibly has made the difference between them retaining the title and not. But Tevez - he's a very busy, eye-catching player, but actually, technically, not that great.
Segun Oluwaniyi
I'll add Ryan Babel to this discussion. He just isn't really that good. He ought to be, but he's not.
ElDiablo
Bentley is a good player but is playing in a side that doesn't suit his game, when he has a target in the box he's an excellent winger, also tries different things which I like, would take him in instant for about 8m. Guest timmy boy
Mascherano is definitely up there as the best in the world in his position for me, he's a class act. Quick, strong, reads the game well, good engine, quality player.
