johnnypd Posted October 22, 2007 Share Posted October 22, 2007 we're missing a player upfront to play with his back to goal at the minute. so far it has been owen dropping deep to link, with martins staying on the shoulder of the last man to try and stretch them and butt being the midfielder making runs. as a result martins has looked isolated up front. i think i'd rather see martins go wider as he did at the beginning, with owen staying in the middle and emre pushing up.
