Cronky
I don't think there's a shortage of quality among British managers - O'Neill, Moyes, Coleman, Hughes, Curbishley - I could add Sam as well, but that would only divert things on to a different discussion. The England job can potentially attract the best managers on a world basis, and now that the precedent has been set with Sven, it's right to pick the best man regardless of nationality. GM
Whilst I'm behind the appointment of Capello, I did enjoy this on the Private Eye website: http://www.private-eye.co.uk/ http://www.private-eye.co.uk/pictures/lookalikes/small/brian_oliver.jpg
Wullie
Today the Metro paper featured the quote from Barwick calling Capello "a winner with a capital W" and describing his attributes. However some joker had snuck in something about the last man being a "loser with a capital L" and describing how inept McClaren was in a similar fashion. It's not on the website but it was definitely there.
