S.S.R.
I'd appreciate it if Sam could let us know ahead of time if he's going to start with N'Zogbia and Carr as full-backs, so I know whether to bother turning up.
Mick
Roz has been woeful lately. I'm not sure what you mean by lately, he had a mare at Derby.

Guest ArseFan
First post on here guys, be gentle. Obviously an Arsenal fan and would like to share opinions before Wednesday's game. You probably couldn't pick a better time to play us in terms of our personel that will be missing, our three best attacking players infact Hleb, Fabregas and van Persie will all miss out. I expect Wenger to go 4-5-1 with Rosicky playing the 'Hleb' role. We should line up something like this. ----------- Almunia Sagna - Toure - Gallas - Clichy Eboue - Diarra - Flamini - Walcott ------------ Rosicky ----------- Adebayor I still think there is enough there for us to win with your boys in poor form and a defensive crisis. I personally would like us to implement 4-4-2 against you and give you more to worry about, either starting Eduardo or Bendtner alongside Adebayor but i doubt that'll happen but im sure we'll see one if not both from the bench if we fail to score early. This is our game in hand and could put us 6 points clear of Man Utd and 8 clear of Chelsea so its really important we win this. Prediction: Newcastle 0 Arsenal
Dokko
5 or 6 nil to Arsenal; would be a mercy if we can manage to keep the scoreline as low as that. As long as its not double figures by half time i will be relieved.

Guest teepee
my only real hope is that we start with a "proper" back four of real defenders, and use milner and zoggy on the flanks imo this team picks itself one or two positions aside, sam doesn't seem to agree though... NG32
1-1 if we get at them from the start and play 4-4-2 with Milner and Zog in their preffered positions. We need to rattle Arsenal early in game. Get the fckers thinking about us instead of us thinking about them.
Guest ArseFan
You need ball winners in midfield that are going to harash an Arsenal player everytime they get on the ball, id suggest Smith and Barton. -------------- Given Geremi - Taylor - Faye - Enrique --------------- Butt Milner - Barton - Smith - N'Zogbia -------------- Martins I don't want to tell Big Sam how to beat Arsenal but that gives the leaky defense enough cover, whilst there are enough runners from midfield to support the only striker i feel will worry Arsenal in Martins. Taylor Swift
I love Parky in this mood. I'm thinking it's gonna be a draw. As long as we show up though, that's all I'm asking. This season was always going to be a transition year and games like these were always going to be ones that we were expected to lose.

Guest michaelfoster
latest team news from .com NUFC: To follow....defensive woes continue, with Faye damaging a calf on Saturday, Cacapa not yet 100% with his hamstring injury and Taylor awaiting a specialist's OK before returning after his back knack. Also, substitute Carr had to come off at Ewood with hamstring problems. Ramage is out long-term, Duff back in training but yet to feature for the reserves and Owen still sidelined. Ron Roz Beye Enrique Don't see too much wrong with that tbh, relatively quick which is more important against Arsenal than strong in the air.
ohmelads
Looks like Rozehnal could be back in central defence again. He's pulled out of position way too easily. I only caught the highlights of the Blackburn game, yet still witnessed him commit 3 or 4 basic errors which put Blackburn in goalscoring positions. He'll struggle with Arsenal's movement and Adebayor's power, if possible I'd drop him but then I don't think he should be in the back four anyway. Attack may be our best form of defence in this game, but I can see Sam going uber-defensive and trying to nick a 1-0 defeat.
