It makes a big difference, as the guy receiving the ball is never put into a good situation and needs that extra ajustment. Frustrating to watch. johnnypd Posted January 6, 2008 Share Posted January 6, 2008 smith and butt arent playing enough actual football for me, not making space, spreading the play or looking for the threaded ball opportunity. owen isnt getting the ball in the final third and viduka only receives it cos he drops back with his back to goal so a simple pass will find him.
