I wonder if Mr. Shepherd will have anything to say?

He'll come out with a hypocritical view of how we should have give him more time, especially considering he appointed him in the first place.

My money's on something about it showing how tough a task running NUFC is.

Sam Allardyce has admitted that he is shocked by his departure from Newcastle.

The former Bolton boss parted company with The Magpies just eight months into his tenure.

Rumours and reports had been widespread all season that Newcastle's new owner Mike Ashley was far from happy with Allardyce.

But just when it seemed that Allardyce was set to be given the chance to turn around the club's fortunes - it was confirmed on Wednesday that he would be leaving St James ' Park.

Disappointment

Speaking on Sky Sports News just hours after his departure, Allardyce could not hide his disappointment.

"I am disappointed obviously but I would like to wish everyone at Newcastle all the best for the future and I hope things go very well," he said.

"It was a shock - I didn't expect it."

What do you expect him to say.He just lose his job unexpectedly and I know he is still fuming inside so its better just to speak a few words for now or something else could have happened.

the guy will be heartbroken, but he brought it on himself... it will be even more heartbreaking for him if a fellow premiership manager gets the job....
