His former club didn't allow him to play in youth games in Brazil because he was too good and they were afraid Europian clubs might snap him before they can get a fee for him. I can only put it down to bitterness that he plays for Man Utd. One of the features of greatness is consistency, which is why, for me, he is a cut above Kaka and Messi.
