He is getting raped. who would you prefer to play left back? edgar? there's no one on the bench, and no one else on the field, who can play the position. so much of the team is out, the team is threadbare. can't really blame them or keegan for this, there's just no one available to do what is needed to have a shot at this game. just gotta get some players in and move on to saturday, when there's a real shot with what we have now. Legacy Posted January 29, 2008 Share Posted January 29, 2008 I actually can't wait for martins back even if it's just for the fact that he will stretch teams and give our midfield a bit more space on the ball, even if they are a bit usless but hopefully emre can stay fit (at least he can do something magic the odd time). Roz? Carr? They'd do even worse. We'll get murdered in the second half no matter what Keegan does. They are a class apart like, but we were close to getting into HT scoreless again until an individual error or two or three left us in big, big trouble. We do look like doing something at times, Milner was clean in just before the break as well. We have players on the bench who could potentially make a difference, we might get lucky.
