johnnypd Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 one thing about this side is the total absence of pace or anyone making runs behind defenders. when we attacked inthe first half, or just now when we broke forward, every single attacker ahead of the play comes short, no one tries to break or even make a diagonal run outside. so we just end up passing it around in little triangles till villa get plenty back and we lose it. Doesnt matter if theyre not particularly good players, they just need to be decent and have a good amount of pace along with the ability to use it.
