Don't think Milner has been "painfully slow" in that half tbh.

I do, without a doubt. Main example is that bit where he skinned Bouma... Bouma was on the floor five yards away from him yet still got back to make an easy tackle as Milner approached the box.

Think he looks quite up for it and playing with a bit of zip, tbh. And has an assist.

Don't think he's had a bad game, not in any way, shape or form. That ball in was exceptional. I maintain that he's frustratingly slow, though.

Given's kicking is utterly woeful. Really, really, really bad.

Made one or two good stops though. Harper would have stopped them too though and he's got to be given a chance soon. We lose possession so much when Given's got the ball.

Grumpy bastard. Also, your point about Milner. He wasn't too slow in pace for the Bouma second tackle, he was just too slow thinking about what to do.

Ah, that's alright then.

Regarding Butt I don't think Keegan will ever drop him, because although his play is infuriating at times, he is one of the few leader types we have on the pitch.

Keegan was only just speaking this week about the need for more leaders in our team.

Butt is actually having one of his better games today. Not trying as many of his random long balls.

Given's kicking is pissing me off more and more. Truly awful.

It's not his fault that he keeps getting passed the ball with either the wrong weight, or to his wrong foot.

I'm sorry but that's complete bollocks. At least three were passed along the ground back to his right side and with little or no pressure, he whacked them straight out for a throw.

Well I'm afraid you can't count.

Apologies, two went out for throws, the other he tried to control and put himself in the shit.

Bottom line, his kicking is not good enough.

Never has been, even at his best he could be haphazard.

He blatantly slowed down to pick out a cross into the box. There's no way Bouma could have caught him up if he was running full belt. Think you're being harsh there.

villa's full-backs arefucking woeful, even carr has been skinning mellberg every time they've came up against each other, while milner has floored bouma a couple of times (fat dutch one still managed to get up and make a tackle tho, so slow is milner).
