Guest bimpy474
I'm not drunk but i've seen the light. Ian.W is Alan Pardew, cant you all see it. I see dead people. Neither of us are dead though. Or at least I hope not, perish the thought something has happened to Pards. Your dead to me Alan, but i can still see you.
Guest bimpy474
Nolan wouldn't have pulled out of a game because his head wasn't straight if a bid for him had come in. Totally gutless, for all his skill and decency as a player, Cabaye is a gutless drama queen. Unreal how people are so quick to jump to this conclusion. absolutely spot on, beggars belief Look it's Alan wife.

Does that mean you would rather we didn't pursue this deal then? (neatly brings thread back on topic)

LRD
Hard to say whether he refused to play or Pardew left him out. If he refused its monumentally s*** but that's the nature of footballers. From our point of view it's absolutely horrendous but it doesn't surprise me. However we don't know for sure either way, so I'd be reticent to hammer him too much If he had asked to be left out then it would be clearly unacceptable and unprofessional of him. We have seen clubs using excuses to prevent player injuries in the event of a sale though. How much truth is there to Bale being injured atm, or Rooney being out during pre-season? Even Speed was the victim of a convenient excuse when Everton sold him. Those ignorant and making fun of depression should be hit by a bout of the disease fwiw. This - the most likely explanation...amazing how many people want to blame Cabaye instead of those running the club - even after all they've done in the past. This - the most likely explanation...amazing how many people want to blame Cabaye instead of those running the club - even after all they've done in the past. Very true. When Cabaye came here he turned down the chance to sign for plenty of CL clubs to live the dream at Newcastle. I can remember the French press was incredulous that he would choose us over more glamorous options. The truth is we sold him a lie with our rotten cheapskate approach to running the club. We have had a great chance in the last couple of seasons to really challenge for the Europe regularly and build a team to be proud of, but the inability to install a manager capable of managing the squad has blown the opportunity. After two years of shit football it's difficult to blame any footballer for giving up and grabbing the opportunity to play his natural game where it's most suited. Disco
How daft of me to even contemplate thinking that we might have sped this deal up a fraction to give the atmosphere around the club a much needed boost.

Well, his behaviour hasn't exactly been exemplary. Can't blame him for wanting to go to a club with ambition beyond survival and with a proper coach/manager, not an unfunny clown in charge, though. He's been sold a pig after being told it was a racehorse
