Dave
Why is it so difficult to find the fair play table? I think it's only released every now and then. Presumably when the ultra-stupid calculations come out of Deep Blue.

Dave
I don't understand that table at all. I'm glad I'm not the only one, thanks. Are points awarded for doing well? If so, why does the key read like you get points FOR a red/yellow card? Why is it in order of average (average of what?) rather than total, and why don't the two marry up anyway? Robster
While I woudnt say no to qualifying for Europe, there is something not right about a team that has performed so poorly for so long, being given the opportunity of playing inthe UEFA Cup
Keefaz
I can't see how Man Utd or Arsenal have more points for respecting the match officials than we do. Unless that's negative scoring.

I dont and am guessing the answer :-[ Keefaz. Promoting fair play is a great idea. Just think there should be a way of doing it while trying to make sure the competition is still filled with the better quality teams. Dare I say, the irony could be that by the time we would get to play in the competion, if today is a yardstick, we would be worthy entrants anyway

Why is it in order of average (average of what?) rather than total, and why don't the two marry up anyway? It looks like you get points for some weird stuff which has nothing to do with fair play.
