Guest Invicta_Toon
are you lot the same bunch of jokers saying the NUFC has never made a profit? sure we get Sol Campbell, how long was he going to last? I maintain there is no way you could persuade a young player with ambition to come and stay when FF is deciding the conditions So is Martins not young or ambitious? ZING! I meant a defender! and are you saying Martins is top class?

Guest
Roeder isn't the big problem at Newcastle - it's the man who runs the club. If Freddy won't (and he didn't) back the fella in the transfer market, then this is what's going to happen. Roeder has an extremely average and overpaid squad to work with. What else can he do ? Pick Taylor & N'Zogbia ahead of Bramble & Solano/Duff for starters.

Parky
This has always been the problem in the making with buying Duff. I would have thought this was going to be Zoggies coming of age season following on from last year.

Guest Kenton Magpie
Zoggy or no Zoggy we are on the road to hell this season, Roeder has took us as far as he can!
Cajun
Didn't Roeder say in the summer he was happy with the defence, then it suddenly realised they were infact shit and he fannied about and missed out on getting a decent CB? Money talks, we pay big wages! If we agreed a fee to sign a good young defender we would persuade them ££££££ wink wink to sign for us.
Decky
what is it with Roeder and finishing 7th one season and going down the next? granted he wasnt all responsible for the relegations with previous clubs but he was the manager, maybe he has some sort of curse? Campbell cost £0.00 btw, I don't know why you think it would have taken some vast effort to get him here.

papo
why does Roeder still believe in Bramble instead of Steven Taylor? :\
Northern Monkey
Roeder is a fucking idiot. Failed to get any defenders. Went for a poor one on the last day. Drops our best defender as soon as that piece of donkeywank Bramble gets back. Plays Moore and Bramble ON PURPOSE, despite the fact that they are suited, at best, for the Championship. The ONE thing Roeder might have brought to us was the fact that he was a defender (albiet only a mediocre one). But he can't even sort that out. Well done Roeder, you are creating a genuinely shite team out of the heading-towards-shite that Soumess left us with.
Guest geordieracer
in january i can imagine this headline 'roeder offers 10 million to any club in the world to take shitus bramble off his hands' in a bid to save his job, and get newcastle out of the relegation zone, glenn roeder is looking to get titus bramble out of the club, and has offered 10 million to any club to take him off there hands, if any club accepts this offer they are certain for relegation, but will have a greedy bastardo chairman who wants to make a few mill
Northern Monkey
why does Roeder still believe in Bramble instead of Steven Taylor? :\ Because Roeder is as much a disgrace as a mangager as Shambles is as a footballer. We are, rightly, a laughing stock.
Guest Moe-Ali
I think Carr is to blame, atleast more so than bramble, he just couldnt play with anelka, and he seemed to be running away from anelka, instead of giving him less space and putting in a tackle. I thought bramble was good for the most part today tbh.

But Roeder is proving he's not up to the task with every game that goes by. Man U was fucking spineless as I've witnessed and today was just as bad, 2nd half especially. bring back Keegan

I can't imagine his relationship with Shepherd is very good either. Besides he's now up in Scotland with his soccer schools project.
