STM
Mature as usual, i'm just exploring the possibilities. How about you say "We have no chance of signing Ronaldinho because.......". People once laughed when i created a thread claiming Owen would join us.
James
The worry is with all these threads is that when Keegan signs the modern day Andy Cole, or the modern day Les Ferdinand with no Deco or Ronaldinho in sight, people are going to be very dissapointed as a result of the hype they themselves have created. People once laughed when i created a thread claiming Owen would join us. At the time nobody else wanted and could afford Owen and he was desperate to move for first team football. That's certainly not the case with Ronaldinho.

I'm just trying to get them out of the way. Like i said in another thread. Gudjohnsen would be my preferred signing. I do have a gut feeling that KK will be aiming very high this summer. That's certainly not the case with Ronaldinho. Then why did people laugh it out of the park? The ability to say why someone would sign for us before it happens is better than the ability to say why after. What is Ronaldinho's case? He's considering Man City? Yes Then why not consider us? wacko
Not a chance in hell of a party animal like him moving to Newcastle. Not the club, the city. If he came to England, it'd be London or nowhere.

People once laughed when i created a thread claiming Owen would join us. The OWEN argument is not bad, still don't believe it for a second. :-) It was funny actually. It was a thread entitled "Why i think we will be in for Owen". I claimed that Real would sell him because that summer they had just signed Robinho and Baptista thus pushing Owen down the pecking order. Then i went on to talk about why the top four wouldn't take him. My finest hour TBH. Only to be eclipsed when Ronny walks through the door My head tells me he will join Inter, Juve or Milan. Would be suprised if Chelsea were not in for him but they'd need a bigger attraction than Avram Grant.
