So you want us to sign 4 new defenders? That's crazy. why is it, Carr will leave and that leaves us only 1 real RB in Beye, as it stands now we only have 1 LB in Enrique and we need at least 1 more big solid 1st choice CB. I think it's unlikely he'll sign another centre back after Dunne, he'll get in new fullbacks though even if it's only to add depth to the squad. I don't think going into a season with Dunne, Faye, Taylor, and one from Rozehnal, Cacapa, Edgar, Diatta or even Ramage is the worst thing in the world tbh. Must be slightly wary though that he was considered a laughing stock a couple of seasons ago before he turned things round. Sorted. Yup, was just about to post the same thing. Dunne is a very good centre half and a leader too. Could quite happily see him and Faye partners next year. Faye is a great player don't get me wrong but he isn't in the same way as Dunne so he would be an excellent signing. Exactly, experienced in EPL and a leader, just what keegan was looking for in an incoming defender... For a 28 year old Premiership proven defender just peaking, I'd say it's actually pretty cheap if you consider how much other defenders of his ilk would be going for. I'm sure Keegan would prefer it if he wasn't unveiled until it was all signed. If this follows the pattern, he will sign a new contract soon with Man City because they know we're in for him.
