Village Idiot
Marca reporting that we have signed Mata for €20m, which would be an absolute shambles. They got the Villa signing right though.

AyeDubbleYoo
Wolves have signed Stephen Hunt from Hull. Their policy of signing relegated players could be their savour, or lead to their downfall imo. Stephen Hunt's a very good signing, as is Petrov for Bolton IMO. Both players we should have been looking at.
Village Idiot
A shambles? In what way? Too much money? Way too much money, doesn't really have much over Pedro. Also, the current board has 9 days left in charge, why are they spending €20m right now?
khay
Easy if it works they can take credit and if it does not they will blame the new board.

Very good signing but i thought they should have gone for a player who is a bit younger and better imo, Eagles.

Doctor Zaius
Looks like Bolton have completed the signing of Petrov. Definitely a player we should be in for. Especially if Bolton can afford his wage demands.

Petrov can't win matches if he is injured for half the season. Also, if we are working on a limited budget with a wage cap we shouldn't be signing players for positions we already have filled. We have several players who can play on the wings and the priority has to be a striker, central midfielder and defensive cover. Furthermore, he is 31 and will have been given at least a two-year, if not three-year, contract at Bolton. Is he really going to be a match winner at the age of 33 in two years time?
