I would have loved to see him back here, decent partner for Carroll as well. Martins is a bad footballer that shows once every 10 games a glimpse of talent. Headless chicken and no footballing brain. Yes. Agree 100%, we had a striker force of Owen, Martins and Viduka costing around £250k a week in wages. £14M a year. They scored less than Nolan and Carroll this season. I feel the main reason Birmingham have regressed is having no 'spark' upfront (Chucho last season) and having a lot of slow/strong forwards - Zigic, Jerome, Derbyshire and ancient Phillips is quite a predictable array of forwards.
