Seventh year in a row

It's not fair on the clubs playing at home on the best footballing day of the year. Fucking love boxing day away trips. :D

Agreed. Let's hope we win this one, though. At least we won't play for a draw with Keegan in charge.

It couldn't possibly be random with all the different clubs in the same/nearby cities/areas.

What they say is they have a big fixture-style computer, into which they put all of the exceptions (Newcastle and Sunderland can't play at home on the same day etc.) and then it 'randomly' generates them with those 'rules' in mind.

Still complete bollocks like.

Wait until you get Man United in the third round of the FA Cup seven times in nine years, then you can talk about conspiracy.

Class avatar

From the local paper the day after the great event happened.

I have several of those pics pinned to the wall in my office. They cheer me up when I am down.

You are too young to know what a home game on boxing day is like to be honest.

You may remember some minor details, but at 8/9 years old, not well enough to know whether you would prefer it to the away games on that day.

Fair enough, i've always said that people who pay for their tickets should have a voice on these matters.

So, what does your dad reckon about it?

;)

No.

Like I said yesterday, it is because the police won't allow a derby, and the other teams in the league write to the Premier League compilers to say that it is too far to expect their away fans to travel on Boxing day.

So it's too far for Wigan fans to travel here, but not too far for us to travel to Wigan?

Thats' my thinking.
