thewellander
Good news. Now, Mr. Ashley, could you personally step in and get Owen's contract done and bring in some new players, please?

Guest POWNATS
As for Taylor, thank Christ, but any other club would never have let his contract run down so close to a year when the player was begging for a new deal. Amateurs. Maybe they were going to make him work for his new deal and not treat him like a spoilt kid "I want a new contract!" "Here you go son" Sure. The lad gets less than £10kpw (a contract signed in his debut season) puts his heart and soul into the club, and his contract is running out. How dare he ask for an improved deal. are you his mother or his agent.......maybe the sally army ffs

Mags Serbia
from transfermarketweb.com Newcastle extend deal to Taylor he defender Steven Taylor (21) has today extended his contract with Newcastle. Negotiations for the renewal was longer than expected, but finally the "yes" from the player has arrived.
Tooj
Was always going to happen, in an ideal world we'd have better central defenders so he wouldn't have to play, but he could still be a very useful squad player if we do bring anyone of sufficent quality at the back. So good deal on re-signing him.
Ronaldo
good I guess, because he's better than Edgar. Still hope we sign one or two solid CB's so he gets nowhere near
toontownman
More interested in seeing Owen and Harper sign deals, but is a welcome extension, hopefully we can bring someone solid and experienced for him to progress with.

So good deal on re-signing him. I concur. I also think that it's good to have a couple of players who've come through the youth system about as well, provided they're in the squad on merit. Ah his mum the fact nufc have renewed this dingdongs contract shows pretty much where we are headed next season Also that we have shown an interest in michael dawson, similar tosser to taylor, and lennon shows we can no longer compete with tottenham for transfers or ambition instead relying on spurs rejects Steven Taylor is a bog standard run of the mill average player and we've just extended the fuckers contract brilliant
