Greg
So, if anyone has thoughts on the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre, can they please PM me. This should be a PM tbh. Disclaimer; Nile Ranger.
Guest Bartons_Bitch
Bartons Bitch seems a decent poster, not noticed him before but he makes a good arguement highlighting Ranger's ridiculous ego. Nah, he is more the perfect example of why the supporters of Newcastle get so much stick. It's ridiculous to have a go like this on one of our biggest talents. 'One of our biggest talents.' Mega lolz m8, mega lolz.
Guest Stephen927
Someone has tweeted both Henri Lansbury and Nile Ranger asking who is the better finisher out of the two of them.

ponsaelius
I actually think Ranger is a decent player for 19, tbh. Though for the 45675th time, I'll utter those words: "Needs a loan".
Skirge
Nile is just a kid who need guidance imo, it is my opinion that if someone like Enrique takes on the job of pointing him in the right direction then i couldn't be more happier. Hopefully the other players don't give up on Ranger if it is an truth in him being a knob. Not bothered to check but wioder if any of the other official players twitters follow him.. get the feeling he's not a popular lad. When he missed the sitter vs the Hammers and hung himself around Loven, he looked he wanted to smack him

Mega lolz m8, mega lolz. Decent poster aye? haha Carroll, Enrique, Taylor & Tiote are all bigger talents than Ranger. By a fucking long stretch. However, if you are - and probably are - implying that Ranger is one of our biggest young footballing talents that are products of our academy then yes, he is - without a doubt. Only because Carroll, Ferguson & Ranger are the only ones coming through, as our academy is a crock of shit.
ponsaelius
Worth noting that Ranger isn't even an academy graduate.
Greg
Worth noting that Ranger isn't even an academy graduate. He is, he may not have gone through the full system but he still played for us and trained at Academy level for a short period.

Even if you were trying to be smart, my point would've counted for that first selection of "talents". I'd say being the best talent after Carroll is being one of our biggest talents. You are hardly a talent at 24/25.

Well aye, technically, but drafting him in for a compensation fee at 17 is cheating a little bit like. Kadar and Vuckic are also technically academy grads, but, well aye. Guest Howaythetoon
Seriously, Ranger isn't a talent. He's just another young player like hundreds of others. He's another Nathan Dyer, Julian Joachim, Matty Piper, Carl Cort or our very own Wayne Routledge. He has no outstanding attribute footballing wise. I'm not going to judge him outside of football because I don't know him or care enough about the life or lives of footballers outside of what they do on the pitch. As a 'talent' though, he's ordinary. If you consider that Shola at his age had a better touch, better technique and better finishing skills and look how he's turn out that should tell you all you need to know about the future of Ranger. he will do well to carve himself a career in the Championship and the fact he's at Newcastle and actually getting games says more about how we are ran these days, the level of our squad and the state of our academy. I'll tell you why we struggle to produce footballers these days... because as kids, those with a bit of pace and power are deemed future prospects (Ranger et al), while the actual footballers, are deemed too small, too weak, too slow etc. Loan him out to a Championship side or League One team and hope he scores a few to actually get a fee for him. Greg
It's all well and good saying loan him out but a club needs to want him and he already has a dodgy reputation in the game (see Redknapp comments).
Guest Stephen927
Aye Gomis that was him... we signed Nile that week did we not ? always thought it was Nile Was signed before Euro 2008 and I remember people wanting to sign Gomis before his price shot up efore the tournament.. You might be right pal, the timing would suggest it was Nile tbh.
ponsaelius
HTT complaining about physicality being promoted before technique, and then producing a list of quick, strong but limited footballers. All of them black. Shameful!
