furney89 Posted August 10, 2008 Share Posted August 10, 2008 i dont' think people realise footballers come and go at this age at carlisle united they regulary sign 17 to 18 year old players, who have had trails elsewear and then let them go eventually never to be seen again in football its all about being in the right place at the right time, you can get a lucky break...carson at leeds (when they were in dire financial states) gave a youth keeper a chance and look where that led the lad... england place this guy must have a litlle bit of talent, but who's to say 12 - 6 motnhs time hes just let go never to be seen again like alot of footballers but whose to say he doenst get a chance from some random/freak incident and end up doing well...who knows!
