8 Coaches, and a few hundred people, in Hetton, this was unveiled.

The reaction to the original post is a bit stupid, Paisley did a brilliant job for them and they've marked that with something in his home town.  I think they should be applauded, not taken the piss out of.  I think they feel the same way about him as we do about Bobby who didn't do nearly as much for us as Paisley did for them.

"Anything and everything related to Newcastle United. Non-NUFC football talk also welcome here."

Don't see the problem. Just people jumping on the bandwagon.

Christ we have some absolute cretins on here. Bob Paisley as well as being a brilliant manager, was also a top human being to go with it. Shame on some of you lot.

Go and worship at the effing thing then

He represented Liverpool. What in Gods name has it to do with THIS club ?

"Paisley did a brilliant job for them"

The word you should take notice of is "THEM"

Go down and doff your cap at the Shankley gates, then

Do you think you'd get any better response from the bin raiders, man ?

You can talk about other clubs in this forum. For example, that is why there is a dedicated 'Other clubs Summer transfers' thread.

Jesus wept.

It's a football related post in a football forum so this is the right place to post it.

Hetton le Hole is in the North East.

It's not about this club (Newcastle) but it's about football and it's North East related.

Why get so upset about a post? Just don't read it, nothing to see here, move along then.

Hardly the same as grovelling cap-wringing respect for another teams manager - Jesus wept indeed.

Pathetic is another term I'd use for the Uriah Heep approach.

Fine - it's also the place to have zero respect for it too.

So's Sunderland - what'd you say if someone decided you should tug your forelock for some ex-Makem ?

This is worse, to me.

Give over, you're just looking daft.

Not at all.

You want to respect another teams manager go ahead.

I had huge respect and liked Clough - but I wouldn't be able to understand some on here going "Oh, ahhh....isn't that nice..."

Like here.....
