I'm only half watching... was it Totti who scored the one that was ruled out for offside?

Guest LucaAltieri
Stankovic goal was well taken but the keeper should have done better. Obinna's was fantastic.
1878
Stankovic goal was well taken but the keeper should have done better. Obinna's was fantastic. He's not good enough to play in this country though. Not according to the Home Office wankers anyway

Fatwax
Watsons' goal for Sheff Wed was a nice floater. I do enjoy goals like that.
Guest quklaani
Anyone see that bit with Ilunga robbing Myhill and scoring with an overhead from outside the box. Since when has that been against the rules? The keeper threw the ball up without looking and an opposition player gets booked for taking advantage...whats that all about? Guest kingdawson
Oh and the ref was the worst excuse of a ref iv'e ever seen. Clear handball at the end but he decides not to give it. Seriously man, f*** off, how can you say that? i typed it?
Guest kingdawson
Oh and the ref was the worst excuse of a ref iv'e ever seen. I agree. That goal he gave you was way offside. It came of a stoke player though. Maybe im getting the rules all wrong. The initial through ball (which had two Spurs players offside) didn't. what initial ball? hutton passed the ball which was deflected into Bents path by a stoke city player. No offside. Decky
People say Spurs are too good to go down, but when you think about what Berbatov and Keane gave them last season, perhaps they've lost too much.
toontownman
They will just spunk another wad of cash down the drain in january and buy their way out of trouble. i think they will be clear of trouble by then anyway, its still early and just three wins could bounce them or us high up the table. As far as I'm aware the ball has to be deliberately played by a defending player for it not be offside, deflections don't count. I remember it being clarified after Korea felt they'd been robbed by the Swiss back in the last world cup. Or maybe its something to do with altering the direction sufficiently, I'm not entirely sure but I know Bent's goal today shouldn't have counted because the through ball was intended even if it's target wasn't.
