Incognito
I was told at the time, that Isais was one of the best players in the World when Cov signed him by the simpleton Sky Blues fans, when he signed. However the funniest thing was when Coventry signed Robert Jarni and presented him at a pre-season friendly. How it was a statement of intent and with the likes of Jarni signing, how Coventry could challenge for Europe. They sold him to Real Madrid a day or 2 later!
Disco
Aye i remember that strange Jarni incident. Far too good for Cov like.

Guest firetotheworks
Maybe this is more one for a 'Daft Football Questions' type thread. I was just wondering, has there been any players who have had legendary fathers, and went onto be as good as or better than them? I can only think of Frank Lampard Sr/Frank Lampard. Incognito
Nigel Clough played more times for England than his Dad,not sure if he was better. Jamie Redknapp was deffo a better player than Harry.

Belfast Boy
Not trivia as such but it seemed a hell of a coincidence that Phil Neville played his 600th career game the week after his brother did the same.
Incognito
I find it amazing that Phil has played that many as he's fucking shit.

Fenham Mag
The last players to play in the premier league who were born in the 1950s and 1960s. Bonus points for a one that came very close to appearing in a premier league game who was born in 1940s. No cheating.
