Dave
This Fox sounds just what we need. Genuine competition for Enrique rather than a straight replacement.

Aye, exactly, I was really worried we would do a Zog and replace Enrique before he had a decent chance.
mouldy_uk
I'm fully prepared for another disappointing deadline day, my expectations have been far too high in previous years. Also glad it finishes at 5pm so I don't have to waste an evening watching SSN.
AyeDubbleYoo
My expectations were so low going into this window that I'll be chuffed if we end up with anyone else!
Dave
0950: Alan Smith and his rumoured loan move from Newcastle to Rangers is causing a bit of a rumpus on 606 and via texts on 81111. No chance say some, Rangers haven't got the money for his wages. Definitely happening insist others.

Bale's gone backwards in his development, I'm certain. He really ought to move somewhere and build himself back up, he does have great potential. Bale is different class for Wales, he hasn't been given a good run in a poor Spuds team.

Guest johnson293
David Craig update on SSN... Llambias at training ground with Kinnear, working on transfers... We have allegedly bid around £1.3m for Daniel Fox, but Coventry want 'a much higher figure' - negotiations ongoing.... Ryan Taylor all but confirmed with N'Som gone to Wigan.... Club (Newcastle) working on a mystery signing, possibly a striker.

If we're anywhere near a foreign signing, they'd be flown in before now anyway.
Guest The Libertine
1022: No definitive word as yet from the Premier League as to whether they will extend the transfer deadline as a result of all the snow. The fact they haven't told us it won't suggests that maybe it will.

LooneyToonArmy
“We’re looking for another two players on top of Kevin and Ryan,” said Kinnear. “I’d originally earmarked four, and we’ve been chasing players for a while now. Ideally, one of them would be a striker.”
