Is it only 1 match each this year? Thats a bit lame! Last year BBC had 3 and sky had 1 if I remeber correctly, which was quite good as you could end up watching like 3 matches in one day!

I think there's more live games to be announced for the 3rd round yet.  I could be wrong but I thought ITV had 2 and Setanta 3.

Cheeky bastards.

Hope that goes up nearer the 5,000 mark.

The North Stand which is for away fans holds 4,000. I'd be surprised if we are allowed any more than that to be honest.

thought away teams were entitled to 15%, and considering their capacity is 24404 we should have over 3500

You're a thousand short mate. You're right though, should be over 3,500. Hopefully our initial allocation will rise.

If Sunderland can beat these cunts 4-1 away then we can beat them, feeling confident about this atm

That's a stupid way of thinking about it!

Hull (a) - extra places

Newcastle confirm that they have received an unspecified extra ticket allocation for our forthcoming FA Cup Third Round tie away to Hull City.

These will go on sale to season ticket holders and members from 9am on Tuesday, 23.12.08 - online, by phone and from the ticket office.

(Anyone who missed out on the first allocation of 2,500 and can get to SJP in person will stand the best chance)
