Spain have been crap this tournament. Signs of the first team of years gone by; promised alot and then fell flat on their faces. Could have done without the Confederations Cup being on at the same time really, as Fabregas, David Silva, Santi Cazorla, Pique and Busquets could probably have made a difference but even still, with the squad available, they should be doing better. Just got to hope that England beat Germany well and Spain find the net and the victory against Finland.

I think Pearce went a bit over the top because Hargreaves put in some brilliant performances for England in the 2006 World Cup, but Fabrice Muamba was outstanding against Spain.
