Wolfcastle
They're a club that's always got half a mind on the beach anyway, its why they always are what they always are compared to the real big boys of any era, but this has been ridiculous. It was so predictable. Our taking the second half of the season off under Ashley when safe by Christmas was the most miserable pathetic thing I'd seen but some pride and professionalism would still break out by law of averages in one or two games. Not with these. Edited 15 hours ago by Wolfcastle
Jonas
Already lost more games than we did either time we were relegated from the PL and have now lost as many as we did when finishing rock bottom in 88/89 and probably more by the time they've played Brighton. SteV
Lose to Brighton and they’re the first team in PL history to stay up having lost 22 games. Mate.

A promoted team managing to stay in the PL is going to become a very rare event.
The Bonk
I was impressed with their 17th position and positive goal differential. Then I found this: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2004/may/05/theknowledge.sport Which had this little tidbit: Quote "Manchester City completed an awesome double in 1937-38," says Ian Kay. "Not only did they become the only team ever to be relegated with a positive goal difference, they also became the only team ever to be relegated the year after being champions. As if that wasn't enough, they went down after falling five places on the last day of the season - and despite being top scorers in the whole division." That's worse than Leicester's recent plight. ExiledGeordie
I can’t see Postecoglou lasting there. He’s got no idea how to organise a defence, seemingly no plan B and is just a grump thesedays with any journalist and any questions which are even mildly critical. He’s become a bore too. Geordie_once_removed
I'm kind of amazed he's lasted this long. I predicted his sacking since the 4 nil humping last year where I first saw the slumped hangdog "What do I do now mate?!?" body language that has been virtually an ever present this season. I think the injuries in the first half of the season have saved him as they masked his failings and by the time they cleared up it was unquestionable he was the problem it was that time of the season where it was really hard to get someone better. Levy gets a lot of hate from Spurs fans but I don't see him doing a Moyes-esq manager replacement where partially mitigate the current issue but essentially extend the real problem by 18 months. Anyway it really fucks me off that one of Spurs or Man U will be in the Champions League next year while one or more of us, Villa and Forest will miss out (if Man City and Chelsea miss out I'll be totally fine with that). Holloway
If the roles were reversed and we had a final in less than a week with nothing to play for in the league, would anyone bat an eyelid if we fielded a weakened side in a fixture a few days before? One where a win would help a cartel club reach CL qualification

Displayname
Not that scared of Spurs even if they were to win and get CL. Hard to deny that Man Utd is a huge sleeping giant. We really dont want them to get momentum.
