Mick
Cheers mick, What in your opinion are the chances of him getting his £100 m back(the loan) He's got very little chance unless he sells up or we start improving. He could try selling players to pocket the cash but that could cost us in results and that would reduce our and his income.
fredbob
Happen to think thisis the worst game he could of possilby come back for - if the worse happens then he's back out in the cold all over again and it starts again.
Mistle17
He still doesnt have my backing. Just because we've signed Kevin Nolan doesnt mean he changing his ways. He's still a cunt. Lets face it, the man has turned us into a selling club that we once were in the 80s.
Willow
even though i don't want to, i'm backing everyone involved with nufc until the end of the season. we all know about the ins and outs of where we are and why but we all need to put it to one side until we're safe. hopefully if we get through the season alive, THEN the shit storm can truly begin still, a long long way to go until we're safe... Tooj
If people protest against the only person who can do something positive for this club then they are morons. Like it or not, we need him to have an interest and having him attending is the best thing that could happen. Why?

But we shouldnt be wanting to sell our best players like Given. Zogg is fine as hes a prick, but not priceless players like Shay. He's turned us into a selling club imo, and he'll do whats right for his finances, not NUFC.

We've also been trying to offload players like Barton and Enrique. Good players. I'm not sure if its just me, but I've got the drift from Ashley that if the offer suits him, he'll sell. Even sunderland arent selling their best player(s)! They kept Kenwyne Jones when they couldve easily sold him.

LooneyToonArmy
Newcastle fans have waited patiently as the transfer window has agonizingly gone by, with no significant player signed until last Friday, when we got Kevin Nolan into the club. And even that signing seems to have been motivated only by losing Joey Barton on Wednesday night, with a broken right foot which sees the lad sidelined for yet another 10 weeks. A senior dressing room figure at Newcastle (whoever that may be) admitted to the News Of The World: “Everyone was put up for sale in August. That caused mistrust. Nobody knew what the future was after that.” “People started looking for a way out after that. You would though, wouldn’t you?” It’s really hard to imagine how the club could have been run worse than it has been since Kevin Keegan left, and the responsibility for that lies squarely with Derek Llambias (who’s he?) and owner Mike Ashley. This wouldn’t have happened if Chris Mort hadn’t left the club in June. The Newcastle Board has been silent, and apparently didn’t even say anything to the players once Keegan left, which has ultimately caused Shay Given to want out, at almost any cost - he’s just had enough. And of course the Newcastle fans, who after all are the club, are not talked to at all. Basic 101 in business management seem to have gone out of the window, and we wonder how Ashley is successful in business when he has so many personal flaws in business leadership. Any sane business man leading this club now would have an immediate press conference in person between whoever is the Chairman and Joe Kinnear, and answer all the questions put to them, after first reading what they see as the situation at the club, and what they plan to do about it. That would clear the air and let the fans would know at least what the club is thinking, on both a short term and long term basis. Good communication is good, bad communication is bad and no communication is a disaster - but that’s what you learn in the first year at business school, for heavens sakes. And if you haven’t been schooled in business it’s just plain common sense. And yes, Newcastle are a disaster right now, and that’s why Newcastle fans are up in arms, and who can blame them. All we can hope for today is a win, which will give us a little respite from the relegation and other problems at the club.

Skirge
IF he spends the money he has got for Shay and Charlie and does it now in this window then maybe just maybe I will start to think he does want us to do well. Also if the Wise sacking is true then he may be heading in the right direction.
