Guest nufc_geordie
If we let Bassong go cheaply and don't give him a contract at least comparable to Taylor it is a joke. The guy is a man mountain, will only get better and he is the sort of player, in the current climate, that we should be planning around for the forseebale future. oldtype
Laws of the universe. We must do everything wrong. Therefore Carroll must be given a 5-year contract and we'll let Bassong go to Portsmouth in the summer for 3m.

Pilko
Bassong, who picks up just £5,000 a week Fucking hell, he wants a better deal than that, the likes of Edgar and Krul are probably on more than that.

Whats funny about that? We can keep Ronaldo out of Real's clutches but a team which is yet again going to fail to make the Champion's league is going to somehow nick half of our defense? It's pretty much the equivalent of Villa* being linked with Pepe and Ramos. *Milan are a bigger club of course, but they're also a poorer one. edit: So on reflection that was a bit of an exageration, but even if we were willing to sell one or both they could never afford them unless they get the money from City. And what is the attraction of a Kaka-less, CL-Less Milan other than the weather?

Guest quklaani
Huddlestone would be a good player in Italy. Not great, but I reckon he'd do a fair bit better than he does in the premier league.

Its only few degrees warmer than London most of the time. http://img209.imageshack.us/img209/6517/temps.png And actually colder in the winters. Still nicer for a large chunk of the year though. Still I'd say anything more than a 3 degree difference is a big shift in feeling. How bored am I?
