What a pathetic showing last night from a fantastic manager, acted like a great big kid and even after he had time to calm down refused to shake Pardew's hand and even Pat Rice looked like he had been told not to and was very uneasy looking when he did!

Lost a bit of respect for ARSEne, Pardew apologised after which fair play to him for but he really shouldnt have! I would have been very p*ssed off personally and let the media know exactly what I thought but respect to Pardew for trying to do what he thought was the best thing.

Totally agree.  Pardew had no reason to apologise imho, he simply celebrated his team's goal.  Most managers with passion for the game and their team would do the same.

Whinger gets a lot of credit for what he's done for the scum, and rightly so, but acts of petulance like yesterday do him no favours whatsoever.  I dislike Fergie and he moans about a lot of things, but hasn't moaned about the opposing manager celebrating a goal.

Pathetic!

Wenger showed himself up so much there, whats it coming to when a manager cannot celebrate a goal. Pardew did fk all wrong it was just Wenger spitting his dummy.

Not to shake the mans hand after the match is a disgrace and he just pile dthem all ont he coach and left did no press at all.

I hope he comes out and tries to defend himself in the next few days or at least the next time he does an interview they question him on it.

The whole Rice thing just made me cringe! How old are these people again? Im sure if Wenger could have picked up the ball and gone home with it before FT he would have tried!

Arsene Wenger has broken his silence, after the incident at Upton

Park on Sunday. Looking emotionally drained Wenger, 79 spoke as

Arsenal arrived back in North London

"I was disgusted at the treatment we received at West Ham. Our

players are used to playing in a quiet, respectful atmosphere

in which we can discuss tactics, compare our nice

gloves, and scream loudly to let the referee know we've been tackled

and need a free kick.

The atmosphere at Upton Park was little short of hostile. The

opposing fans sang, shouted and cheered in a manner we are not used

to. Almost all of them stayed for the whole game, too. This was

strange to us; it doesn't happen back at the Emirates Stadium.

In addition, our bag man left the team's glove bag back at

Gonfraburton Grove, meaning that many of our players were playing

with cold hands, and some of them cried.

My dispute with Alan Pardew was over his comments following their

goal. "Did you see that?" he shouted. This was insulting. He must

know that I see NOTHING on the pitch, unless it is a poor decision

against Arsenal. I hope the FA realizes what bad feeling this can

cause at a game and can have Managers and hopefully players banned

from celebrating when scoring goals. I was very disappointed to see

him celebrate like that, it was almost as if he wanted us to lose. He

did offer to shake my hand at the end but without the gloves my

fingers were tres cold, and I didn't want to move them from under my

armpits."

It was **** all. Media frenzy once again.

He was still a huge tit head

Get your swear filter off you pansy!

I didn't think owt to it. Pardew was acting like a prick, as Mourinho was the other night in Barcelona. One gets support, one gets critisised. I wonder why.

Pardew celebrated because his team had scored a goal against a top side when he was/is under real pressure, Wenger throws a strop. Pardew tries to apologise, Wenger has none of it. Pardew does the grown up thing, Wenger is still sulking and even his staff are acting a bit childish. Pardew comes out to the media, gives his side of events and even apologises when he shouldnt have to, Wenger refuses to speak to anyone.

Wenger = tit in this incident im afraid!

What do you expect from Wenger. Great manager but pathetic human being. Whines when the lose and usually refers to Arsenal as being mentally strong. Wish we had him.
