Thursday brought confirmation that Toon fan Ronnie Lambert had passed away in his sleep at the age of 58.

 

And if that name means nothing to you, then he was better known to many as Busker, the singer/songwriter responsible for the 1980s local hit "Home Newcastle", still regularly aired at SJP on matchdays.

Fucking hell. Imagine not knowing how this season was going to end? Maybe it's for the best actually, poor fella didn't deserve to see us go down...
