Thespence
Sacked by his German club before joining us. Without club after we let him go & then we resigned him. WARNING SIGNS FLASHING ALL OVER SAYING "LOVENKRANDS IS s****" Did a great job for us in the Championship though, so that's irrelevant. Aye but we had to get relegated for him to look good. So what are you saying, that we shouldn't have re-signed him? We needed him. I would of went elsewhere rather than give him a 3 year deal. It was hardly had shock that no club picked him up while he was training with Gers though.
Incognito
We'd be better off picking Campbell up front tbh.At least he'd give us something to aim for.

Had a good game against Man Utd though.

Pilko
He's looked a bit more lively today, even before the goal. Goal and an assist, this is more like it.
Stu
A cross and a goal more production from him in 60 minutes today than in his last 6 appearances. EDIT: Although for Ameobi's goal it was as much, if not more, a result of Shola's strength and determination than Lovelyhands' flat, hanging cross. John P
On the stream I was watching they compared Lovenkrands with Ebanks-Blake and it said that Lovenkrands did not complete any passes today
Yorkie
He'll do well against that sort of opposition, just as he did against Championship fodder. Which Wolves basically are. He's got that nugget of intelligence over Ranger, which will see him likely chip in with a goal against the likes of Birmingham and Wolves. Duly delivered. At home in particular, he's very useful against sides in the bottom six. Ditto Guthrie.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Decent game today. Assist and a goal, usually productive agains the lower echelon (Wigan, West Ham, Wolves). Fair play.
Ronaldo
Very useful is a massive overstatement, he played against the likes of Wigan and Fulham without getting a kick. And it's been 2 years since Guthrie has looked useful against any PL opposition. Good performance, it's long overdue.

Yorkie
Shame that Guthrie's still (blatantly) got that WBA-shaped monkey on his back with some people. He's a more-than reasonable enough squad-filler. Vital cog in the engine room today.

He's now scored and/or set up goals against West Ham, Birmingham and Wolves (and Wigan, since you mention them). I'd say that counts as useful. And it's now three home games since the turn of the year where Guthrie has filled in for Tiote and he's played his part in all of them.

Yorkie
Glass half-empty ffs. He shot, hit the post, came immediately out to Shola. It's as much an assist as any other iyam.
Punk77
Loven struggles against the best. But as you say Willie, he's been quite a handful against the weaker teams. Today Barton managed to give him a couple through balls. . Although he's been shit the last couple of games, he's not getting much service either. I thought the ball fell to him 3 yards out and he somehow contrived to hit the post from the middle of the goal, fortunately Shola was on hand to show him how to score? Yorkie
Christ Almighty. He was in the position to get the shot away. I'm not arguing about this shit, i'm honestly not. He's useful against wank opposition. Fundamental point.
Ronaldo
If that's an assist, man. Seriously.
