JH
Was reading in the paper yesterday that Sol Campbell can run at 22.50mph, compared with Walcott (22.72mph), Torres (22.27mph) and Drogba (22.27mph). So if Sol did the 100m he would get roughly 10.1 seconds, a tenth slower than Usain Bolt. Not too shabby. Was this paper from 1985?!?

Neil
Tenth of a second, as opposed to 10% slower. Oh man I'm confused already. It's a Sunday
Dave
Eh? A tenth of a second slower than 9.58 seconds is 9.68 seconds.
JH
Eh? 10.1 seconds is not a tenth of a second slower than Bolt. A tenth slower isn't even 10.1 seconds!

Keefaz
Genuinely, I'd like to see Sol Campbell and Usain Bolt in a race.
M4
And 10.1 is a tenth slower than 10 seconds. Usain Bolt could do that time walking the 100m.
Neil
9.58 + 0.958 = 10.538 I think.

James
So basically if it was the start of the match he could outpace Linford Christie, but probably couldn't at after 15 minutes due to being too tired.

It doesn't matter when they do it, it's a one off race, he's not gonna run the race in the 75th minute is he.
