Just seen the goals, nice 2nd from Carroll & great assist for the 6th.

Can only be a good thing for us, he's been playing better since having the baby actually.

Maybe its helped put things in perspective and take the pressure off a bit.

For anyone who missed this (or wants to see Carroll's goals again) there's a replay of it on Chelsea TV (Sky channel 421) right now. Half time at the moment.

Nice one, cheers.

'We'd like to see Danny Sturridge on rather than Zavon Hines'

Also highlights on thefa.com

Carroll had a cracking second half, two very well taken goals, great ball over for Hines second.

Just watched the goals on the FA site, Carroll's second in particular is class. The number of headers he wins (just in the highlights) is really good too.

Class cross for Hines second anarl, hope he can carry this form on.

What sort of standard is Under-21 international footy? Chuffed to hear Carroll put another two away. That's only good news for us.

Macedonia weren't very good but Carroll held his own alongside the likes of Walcott, Rodwell and Wilshere who'll all be top class in the future.

The standard of defending from both sides was absolutely shocking mind last night. One thing you tend to notice more in these games is the players actually playing for themselves more than as a collective group. IMO.

It did look like that from the highlights, i've got to say. I mean - that moment where there was like four of our players infront of Macedonia's keeper and Carroll ended up looping it over the bar was a bit ridiculous.
