Looks to get on the ball and make things happen, but no one is moving into the right kind of areas to receive the ball and then do something intelligent with it. Even when they do make space to get the ball they then just knock it straight back to Gerrard when he's just passed it forward to them. England's only hope is when the likes of Wilshere, Cleverly and Oxlade-Chamberlain start emerging. At least they understand the concept of passing and moving. Absolute rubbish as a central midfielder, ludicrous hollywood passing coupled with being easily pressed in possession. He's had an entire career to find his right position and never done it.
