A second strip is there in the event of a colour clash with the opposition, which usually arises with us when the opposition plays in white. That strip doesn't give enough of a contrast to be useful. This seems to happen quite often with second strips. Designers tend to treat them as opportunities to go wild on the fashion front, and forget what they're there for. I would suspect they took the photos of the few selected players (Taylor, Beye, Jonas) wearing the new home and change kits (and possibly 3rd kit) at the same time - so there is probably some shots of Owen (and Nolan) wearing the away kit somewhere, though the Owen ones will now have been shelved following his public announcement of leaving.
